Yep, that ransomware virus (known as Crytolocker), which has been all over the media in recent times, has been certainly been causing some damage… even right here in Hervey Bay.

This post is simply to warn people that the issue is really as bad as everyone says it is… this virus is nasty!

There are a few things you need to do to avoid being hit by this virus… and I found an excellent website which offers quality advice on protecting your computer.

Microsoft has finally released the long awaited Windows 8.

It’s a very exciting new operating system, and is certainly paving the way for some exciting new developments in the computer, tablet and smartphone industry.

But, if you’re in the market for a new computer, you may wish to speak to someone in the know before racing out and buying the latest version of Windows.

Don’t let me discourage you… Windows 8 is great… (wow, that rhimes)… What I mean is, it’s a great OS, but it’s very different from what you’ll be used to.
